Hey there. I have a question about the dimming of low ballast like the Phillips 7w. I have tried the abb and the merten dimmer. But they dont handle the low ballast if you like connect like 3 or 4 leds. Anyone know other good dimmers for knx. |

Yes yes.. That i understand. But the problem is.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Dimmable-Master-GU10-equivalent/dp/B002TSS8QE http://www.sg-as.no/en/products/5/124/1445/junistar-led-white-7w-ip44-cl-ii Take a look at these two.. Many times a client have like 3 or 4 in a hall or a corridor. Then i have the problem i dont seem to get anything to go down that low. The leds only go on and off. And the dimmer from schneider shut down. I have also tested the dimmer from abb. Dont work aswell. The dimmer from abb when you shut it off it starts flashing one led so it shows that the output dont shut of the voltage totally.. Any good tips will be apreciated.. |

http://www.mdt.de/download/MDT_DS_Dimming_Actuator.pdf Mimum load for dimmable LED lamps is, depending on the LED lamp manufacturer, 4-12W In ETS you can choose LED lamp as type of balast. that was fast. nice, tnx

Are you using normal LED bulbs with universl dimmer? Bulb should be dimmable type. Otherwise, it will not work. Universal means it will work with traditional bulb or halogens.
dimming low power loads is something I'm interested too. I know that siemens has dimmers with minimum power 20W. but what when you need to dim 2 or 3 powerLED, 5W each? you have a problem than.
if anybody knows any low power dimmers, please post.
Then are under the minimum then the problem comes. Yes have tried the siemens. Same problem. Wont dim.
