Has anyone tested some of the knx enocean gateways on the market and have information to share? Is it a good working radio system or does it have some major disadvantages? I need some radio push buttons in a office building

Hello. I've tested few one. Most of enocean gateways aren't bidirectional. Wireless range of enocean is similar (maybe little worse) to funk-bus or other radio systems, which are supplied from battery.

Embedded Systems has developed Enocean gateway (Logic Machine 2 Enocean edition) with the following advantages over standard solutions available on the market:

  • bi-directional communication from KNX/EIB to Enocean
  • no limitation on max Enocean objects to process
  • visualization for Enocean devices
  • Enocean gateway is connected to Logic Machine 2 through USB

There is also standard KNX-Enocean gateway available, but with limited Enocean connections..
