I am new to KNX installation and this may be very simple assignment. I like to implement a feature we call it "Corridor Hold off". Let's say you have a corridor which is shared with few rooms and in each room and also corridor you have a motion sensor installed. You don't want to turn off the lights in corridor if you see any movement in any of the rooms. And you use the motion sensor to control the lights in individual rooms.

OK. nice idea, not hard to implement, but more info on devices would be nice. who ii the manufacturer of installed equipment? model numbers?

then we can talk what you could do.

As Miro says, it's required to know which devices you would use.

Anyhow, given the devices have this feature, I guess you would just have to use 2 blocks of movement detection (many manufacturers allow up to 4 blocks per device), one sending commands to the room actuator and the other sending commands to the corridor actuator.

With that set up the handicap would be not to allow detectors to switch off the corridor light if any of the other detectors si sending a switch on command. This should be easily achievable with either integrated logic doors at the detectors (again, if they have them) or with and additional logic module.

Hope this helps, regards,

Asier.

Easy, just let one block of the detectors in each room work as a common slave to a master detector in the corridor. Or if you prefer it explained in another way -program it like it would be one big area with one master and several slaves, then use an additional block to control the lights in the individual rooms.
