Does anyone have any experience with Miele@home Gateway XGW 2000? I am commissioning KNX project and Miele@home appliances are part of the project. I have Coffeemaker, Oven and Dishwasher connected and through the Miele@home Gateway and Miele application for Busch-ComfortTouch I am able to supervise appliances (get their status, temperature and remaining time of the process for example) and stop processes once they have started. Now I would like to know if it's possible to start process through Gateway/KNX, for example to integrate Coffeemaker into a Good morning scene? Regards, Srdjan |

Tried searching for some manuals etc and APD documentation on these devices, but couldn't find any. Reading the descriptions of the Miele@home system this seemed like what it was intended for by using the appropriate connections for coffeemakers, the "XKM CVA 2000" module. Have a look around http://www.miele.de/de/haushalt/produkte/1312_46476.htm to see some other modules etc. Feel free to update here if you get any good documentation like object overview and implementation strategies, would like to see a similar project from a programmers perspective! |

Thanks for the reply! I haven't found any reliable documentation about implementation, just a short description of Gateway in German which you can find on this link: http://files.domoticaforum.eu/Miele/GA_XGW2000_komplett_V_1.0.pdf I have those modules (XKM CVA 2000) connected, they are mandatory if you want to connect appliances to the Gateway. When it comes to KNX all the appliances have Start / Stop object (one object for both functions) and some others like Remaining Time, Temperature, Warning, Alarm etc. Through the Start / Stop object I was able to turn off the appliances in tha absence mode or ALL OFF scene for example, but i couldn't start any process. That's what I am curious about, is it possible to start Coffeemaker or Dishwasher for example. |
