Is there any automatic way to re-create an ETS project if you do not have the original database? One of my clients want help with modifications in his home but the file has been missing for years. I actually have no problem to program it from the scratch, but if there are automated ways, it´s preferable. /Stephen

Check IT-tools.

There is a reconstruction option. In demo mode works with 1.1.0-1.1.10 addresses, so you can just localizate the device, which you want to change, then unmount it, connect directly to PS without other devices, change address (you will be sure that it is free - no other devices on line) and read the program by reconstruction option. Make a changes (application and addres) and mount it again. Before doing that, you have to import a VD-file of this device to ETS.

You can scan line with ETS and you can read the memory for all products devices by scan. It´s not automatic but works if you now what kind of products is installed,

Mixture of the last two answers basically I would scan the lines to see what physical addresses that is used, (this will prevent me programming the address every single device) use these devices from catalogue and start from scratch
