I want to access my IC1 controller without domoport.com. I have a static WAN IP address, all the redirections are done correctly. When I enter my IP address in the Internet Explorer, I get merten@home login, can login and change some stuff, but I do not have full access - cannot define users, cannot modify parameters etc. It seems as if there only one username and that one is not administrator. How can I add user with administrator rights, like the one I have when I login via www.domoport.com? I tried ADMIN / SERIALNO but it does not work: Fehler Nr.:1010 The following error has occurred: Incorrect login data. (User does not exist on ic.1) When I login via domoport, it actually transfer me to something like: http://my.ip.ad.ress/home?PW=B415...08F So the communications really work directly, not via domoport. How to generate that PW=longstring directly? |

I use the IC1 without domoport but with the classic interface. You get to the classic interface by entering the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/classic (where xxx is your IP-number) IC1 is by default blocked from external access other than from domoport but you can get around this by entering the subnet mask with * instead of . in the network settings of the device If you are using the merten@home configuration tool i think the same thing is made by some parameter but the classic interface is far better. Thank you, just one question: where exactly is that 255255255*0 mask I should enter?

I noticed one more thing - when entering URL, the correct format is http://xx.yy.zz.tt/classic - if you enter a slash after classic (i.r. http://xx.yy.zz.tt/classic/ ) strange things happen Please ask a question that can be answered, this is a Q&A site.
