Hello everyone.

I´m developing the knx software to be loaded in a new device (it is not in any data base) and I need to performs some tests. For example, I need to perform the PEI and EMI tests via RS232: send specific commands to the device and observing its response(s).

Can it be performed with ETS? How?

Thanks for your attention, and I hope your answers. Thank you very much.

I´m not an expert in electronics but i think both the PEI-interface and RS232 Serial communication is as state of the art as Falcon Crest.

Each KNX device comes with a product database file (eg: ProductName.vd3). The purpose of this file is to permit the configuration of the device with ETS. If you develop your own device, you have to provide the corresponding PDB file.
