I´m about to buy a MacBook Pro because they are so cool. Does anyone knows if it possible to run ETS3 on a Mac? It would be nice to get rid of the PC completely. |

ETS 3.0f is working smoothly in an virtual machine (Parallels 4.0 which runs on snow leopard). However there is one little cutback - the connection via USB to KNX is not working properly - at least for me For many folks this might be a problem. I personally do not have an issue with it, because I normally use KNX routers like the Siemens N146 to connect to it. Regards, Rudolf What´s the problem with USB?

I'm using Virtualbox because ETS3f runs better in virtual than on crappy corporate managed winXP. It's not working with serial adapter because timings but works with USB or ethernet. |

I heard that VirtualBox instead of Parallels 4.0 can handle USB connections to KNX properly! In both cases I recommend at least 4GB of RAM - the more the better. I even think about an RAM upgrade to 6 or 8 GB in order to get a really good performance. |

ETS 3.0 f doesn't work for me. It starting, but there is no posibility to import anything nor connect to KNX via USB. 1
Strange. Any idea why it isn't working? Could you pls. describe your system (total memory, memory used for the vm, which vm are you using...) in order to find a solution for you.
