I am installing and Merten IP Router into a project. I am just wondering could I set it up in such a way that I can access the project remotely via ETS3 across the Internet?. If you have any information on this i would appreciate it.

I use a older IP router from Merten and need a separat software to get it working. Today i think the routers have support for NAT (Network Address Translation) but if it does not work you can try with the Eibnet/IP Nat support software

You can find it on eib-home.de in the software section by following this link:

Something went wrong with the link (due to the German "ü" i guess).

Copy and paste it and it will work

ETS 3 does not have built-in NAT support, but you can provide this with the appropriate software such as quoted by the previous repsondent.

ETS3f has built-in NAT support, but older IP-routers has not.
