I use different db´s for different projects and then i have to choose db every time i start ETS3. In the "Open database"-window there is a check-box called "Shrink database before opening" What´s the function? Will it be faster or only smaller? |

I would not advice you to try that. I believe it´s also mentioned during installation of plug-in programs to ETS. your db might be destroyed. By curiosity i tried it myself (after copying the db) and it took so long time that i had to cancel the process (after 6 hours). |

Its better off not going near that function I learned the hard way, all it soppose to do is Defragment the database, but tried it left it over night came in next morning still going had to cancel because had to work. lucky all my projects are backed up. |
