Is there some way to reach the Merten Internet Controller IC1 from internet without using Domoport or merten@home service ? For some reason it blocks traffic from internet but allows it internally.

On a Merten's IC1 FAQ I read that you have to ports 80 and 81 open on your Internet router/firewall to be possible to access its Webserver ( directly or via port forwarding). This may explain why you can access it in our lan and not from the Internet. Check if you have one of these ports blocked on the router/firewal

Good idea but i already have those ports open. The problem is a security setting in IC1 that blocks all external communication except from domoport.com. It´s solved now because of a hint in another answer.

Another option: If you have the option to use VPN I would count this as solved. In this case it looks like the connection is coming from an internal connection.

A simple method would be to use WLAN routers with an integrated VPN server.

The answer is given in another question

If you replace the dots with stars in the netmask you will allow direct access without domoport. (255.255.255.0 -> 255*255*255*0)
