I have a client who wants "full" access to his home from everywhere in the world. He wants to see the IP camera, controlling both heating and heat pump, as well as sun protection and lighting, Luckily he has a KNX system in the house which I thought to build on. He wants to be able to control it via computer, mobile phone and the house a touch screen. The best solution is a web interface type BABtech, or should I put into a computer using a Citect SCADA type solution? |

If bab-tec or Gira Homeserver isn´t enough you could go for Crestron. It is easily connected to KNX with a gateway. Crestron are very good at visualizations and integration but their products for light and climate control is not impressing. Go for KNX and use one or more Crestron processors for integration and web-control. Crestron seems like the right alternative in this project
